Deore XT Rear Derailleur - 11 Speed

The XT groupset is SHIMANO's flagship in the MTB sector. This claim is naturally reflected in the DEORE XT RD-M8000 rear derailleur. It combines pretty much all the rear derailleur technology that Shimano has to offer. This has a clear effect on the extraordinarily high performance of this rear derailleur.

It is designed for use on MTBs with 1x11, 2x11 or 3x11-speed drivetrains with 11-40T to 11-46T cassettes and offers a huge gear range thanks to DYNA-SIS11 technology with Rythm Step grading. The revised M8000 requires 20% less effort to shift and features fast and precise shifting. An 11-tooth idler and a damper counteract drivetrain noise on the one hand and provide a good portion of comfort on the other. The SHADOW RD technology keeps the chain tension high even in rough terrain.
Both body and cage are made of aluminium. This gives the rear derailleur a weight of only around 275g. The flat design creates safety on narrow trails and also makes a very noble impression.

Furthermore, it is equipped with fluorine-coated pivot bushings. The rear derailleur rollers run on sealed industrial bearings. This guarantees a long life expectancy.
