TBSM offers a wide range of suspension, servicing and tuning aimed at getting the highest possible performance out of your bike's Fork and Rear Shock.

We service the full range of FOX Shox, Rock Shox, Marzocchi and Manitou forks.

Simon Glanville is TBSM's suspension service technician. He is an approved and trained FOX Shox, Rock Shox, Marzocchi, Manitou and BOS Technician.

"My aim is to offer the best service possible, whether you are a weekend warrior who just needs a general service to get you back on the trail or a Racer hell bent on MTB world domination needing a perfectly tuned shock to get every split second shed off your race time, I will be able to help.

I have been working with MTB suspension for over five years. This experience combined with mechanical engineering training at University means I understand just how important it is for your suspension to work properly. This normally involves a service and the correct settings to be dialled into the shock, if you're looking for a little extra out of your shock I am currently offering Shim Stack and Pro Pedal tuning for all FOX shocks, with an added focus on the DHX and RP range as well as the Rock Shox Vivid as it has a tendency to be a bit sluggish.

TBSM's Aim is to get your bike back on the trail as fast as possible with the highest quality of work.

TBSM Offers on the spot fork servicing while you wait enjoy our luxurious leather lounge watching the latest biking movies on the 50" plasma TV.

We aim to get Rear Shocks Back to you within two working days.

If you live out of town and can't make it to the shop, Just send it directly to us. To do so please fill out the Suspension Service Request Form at the bottom of this page.

Payment for the service and return postage can be done with a secure credit card transaction through our web site. Once the fork or shock has been received we will contact you via email or phone to confirm it's arrival and the expected return despatch date.

What's involved?

Full service on Vivid or DHX involves:
Rebuilding the damper circuit: cleaning internal and external parts, changing the oil and replacing seals with in the shock.
Performed when: oil is leaking from shock, shock has lost rebound or compression control, every 100 hours of riding or annually

Full service on Monarch or Float RP3/23, DHX Air or Specialised Triad/ Brain Involves:
Rebuilding the damper circuit: cleaning internal and external parts, changing the oil and replacing seals with in the shock.
Servicing the Air sleeve: Cleaning air sleeve, changing the lube oil, replacing the seals and guide rings.
Performed when: oil is leaking from shock, shock has lost rebound or compression control, every 100 hours of riding or annually

Air sleeve service:
Servicing the Air sleeve: Cleaning air sleeve, changing the lube oil, replacing the seals and guide rings.
Performed when: oil is leaking from air sleeve seals, Shock no longer holds air, Shock is stuck down (when shock is held in the compressed position by trapped air) every 100 hours of riding or annually

Air sleeve Re-Lube:
Re-lubrication of Air sleeve: Cleaning air sleeve, changing the lube oil
Performed when: Shock feels sticky or no longer feels smooth, excess friction during operation, every 30 hours of riding
