Thredbo - Thredbo is the longest track in the series and provides a challenge to both riders and bikes. The chairlift access of the track means you will be able to pump out practice runs without much of a wait and rest on the way back up. The faster times for the track are around the 6 minute mark and is a challenge to complete a run without needing to stop. Make sure you check your brake pads before this event, the last thing you want at Thredbo is to run out of brakes!
Accommodation is plentiful and can be found from this link.
Race entry for the Thredbo race has gone online on the South East MTBC website or via a faxed off document here.

Del Rio - WSMTB club worked hard all through last year to make the Del Rio a "State Worthy" DH track and was debut to the public last year in it's inaugural State race. The track is steep and fast with many technical obstacles in the way. As you head down the hill towards the Hawkesbury you will encounter a multitude of jumps, drops, fast corners and technical chutes. The track is located on a private resort "Del Rio" which offers camping grounds and self contained cabins. The resorts info can be found through this link.

Awaba - The Awaba Amazon II is a track that has built it's reputation over the last two years of state racing and will test out all riders. The track is steep, very steep and littered with rocks, drops and big jumps. The track has many rockgardens that will make havoc of your rims, tubes and tyres as well as testing out your confidence. The track is located about 45 minutes from Newcastle and about 2-3 hours from Sydney (pending on traffic). The track is located off Mt Faulk Rd (signposted for carpark and track entrance) and you can find a detailed map on the HMBA website.

Lithgow - Remember the old days of the State Mine DH track? Well the boys out at Lithgow have been in the making of a new, legalised track that is set to be just as fun as its predecessor. Stay tuned for updates.
