It was in 1974 when Bob Fox started designing and building the first Fox AirShox prototype for a dirt bike in his friend's garage. In late seventies Fox Shox successfully stepped outside the MX arena, mounting high performance suspension on offroad racing cars. In the following years Fox penetrated into the road car and motorcycle racing, making Fox AirShox the shock absorber of choice for many.
Fox made a footprint in the mountain biking world when the Fox Shox forks and rear shocks were used by Cannondale Bicycles for their first line of dual suspension mountain bikes. In 2001 Fox Shox successfully entered the front fork mountain biking market, winning many races and titles since. Thanks to their innovative design, rigorous testing and close cooperation with their athletes, they have been the industry leader, helping you take your game to another level.
