Fox Head Racing started out in 1974 as a Moto-X, a small motocross part distribution company founded by a physics teacher, Geoffrey T. Fox. Shortly after Moto-X was making their own high-performance suspension and engine components. To show the world that Fox Racing products are the best money can buy, the Team Moto-X was created, competing in the Motocross National Championship. Fox's riders wore vibrant color outfits that became fans' favorite. Fox Racing reorganized and became a major player in the motocross apparel industry. Fox Racing re-branded to the Fox Head Racing and entered the mountain bike, BMX, and surfing market with their high-performance Fox helmets, jerseys, pants, short, gloves and guards, providing maximum protection and freedom of movement.
