Yeti Cycles publicly released the successor to their super popular SB line last night with the new SB5C. The revolutionary design of the SB5C’s link comes through combining their experience with the Switch linkage of the old SB series and their rail system proven on the 303 DH series, giving you Switch Infinity. The Switch Infinity Link, visible just above the bike’s BB, allowed Yeti to create linear floating lower pivot which switches direction through the bike’s travel to provide unique and refined suspension characteristics.
What’s even better news? TBSM are giving you the chance to check the new SB5C out in the flesh next Wednesday 23rd July!! Yeti Cycles Australia will be joining the TBSM Wednesday MTB ride leaving from Waratah Park in Loftus at 6:30pm. Come along for the ride to see the new super bike in action.
Rather than making their own linear pivot system from scratch, Yeti Cycles called out to Fox Racing Shox who provided the technology possible for the Switch Infinity linkage. Fox’s technology behind the linkage has been borrowed from their suspension range with two Kashima Coated piston-looking shafts, bushings and seals all looking very similar to what you find on their Float series of shocks.
Yeti have fitted all of this technology into a refined version of their SB carbon frame, one of the cleanest and nicest looking frames on the market. High quality carbon construction with smooth lines, internal stealth seat post cable provisions and integrated frame protectors live up to what we have come to expect from Yeti.

To test out our fresh new TBSM Capo cycling kit Alex and Coreen headed out to Oatley Park before work for a few hot laps. After the wet and miserable weather over the last few weeks the pair were delighted to see the sun was finally shining while the roads were dry.
The custom TBSM kit is based off Capo’s Super Corsa model with a race-inspired Italian design for optimal performance and comfort. A chamois made from Elastic Interface Technology® provides exceptional comfort while V-Mesh 360 ventilation offers cooling for the not so cold Australian climate.
The kit, jersey and custom TBSM-Babici socks tested out by Alex and Coreen are available in-store or online through the following link: Custom TBSM Cycling Apparel.
