Fox 2013 32 Float 100 FIT CTD Remote

For the 2013 range Fox's 32 Float has undergone a redevelopment of its dampening cartridge, making the fork more versatile than ever before. Like most of the 2013 range the 32 Float 100 series features the new CTD, Climb-Trail-Descend, dampening cartridge which gives riders the option of three dampening platforms with simple adjustment (see below). Fox's FIT (Fox Isolated Technology) dampening cartridge is used in the 32 Float 100 CTD Remote to enhance dampening performance by using a bladder system which keeps the oil and air from mixing to provide optimal performance in all riding conditions. Further improvements to the chassis of the 2013 32 F100 have seen the reduction of around 50g in weight to bring the fork's total weight down to 1.48kg. Using the ever reliable Float air spring Fox have been able to give the fork a coil like feel without the weight and with infinite pressure adjustability.

• Climb: When in Climb mode the fork's low-speed compression dampening is set to its firmest setting, maximizing pedal efficiency by reducing the amount the fork compresses due to rider input. This firm compression setting features a "blow off" whereby under a significant amount of force from the trail, such as a square edge impact or jumps/drops in the trail, the fork breaks through the platform and compresses accordingly.
• Trail: When in Trail mode the fork's low-speed compression dampening setting is firm yet active to provide improved pedal efficiency and control over variable terrain. In the CTD Remote model the fork comes with Fox's handlebar remote lever which allows adjustments between the three CTD settings without having to move your hand off the handlebar.
• Descend: When in Descend mode the fork's low speed compression dampening setting is optimised for the perfect balance of control and plushness for steep, aggressive descents.
